Naxal sympathiser arrested in Orissa

GUNUPUR: Rayagada police arrested Mochila Gulidika alias Samant, a Naxal sympathiser and seized ammunitions from his possession during a combing operation in Muniguda on Friday night. He was forwarded to court on Saturday.
Sources said a team headed by Rayagada SP R.P.Kochhe and Gunupur SDPO A.K.Singh raided Khadikapadar village and nabbed Samant. Besides, police seized four SBML guns, eight bullets, eight cartridges, 17 splinters, gunpowder and banners of radical outfits from his house.
Police said that Samanta, a resident of Hakuspanka area, was an active member of Udaya group, a Naxal outfit in Minakhola dalam. Newindpress
