BJP leader killed by suspected Naxalites-India

RAIPUR: A senior BJP leader in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district was on Sunday murdered by suspected Naxalites, police said. Sonuram Sodhi, who had unsuccessfully contested the two last Assembly elections from Dantewada constituency, was killed by unidentified men using sharp weapons this evening near Kirandul town railway station, about 500 km from here, police said. Police suspect Naxalites behind the murder. The "style of killing" indicates that they have executed it, police added. Times Of India
